Fire up the braai and impress your guests with these irresistible pork kebabs, each skewer a harmonious blend of savory, sweet, and smoky goodness. We used the Chad-O-Chef indoor hob grill braai and the Chad-O-Chef skewers for this recipe. These skewers are specifically designed for large chunks of meat and vegetables.
Ingredients
Kebabs:
2 pork fillets, cut into big chunks
1 small fresh pineapple, sliced
green, red and yellow bell peppers, cut into 2-3cm pieces
red onion, cut into 2-3cm pieces
Olive Oil
Spice Mix:
2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
Directions
Skewer all the meat, peppers, onion and pineapple onto the skewer in in alternating pattern to evenly distribute all the different flavours.
Lightly coat the kebabs with olive oil.
Blend the spice mix together and sprinkle liberally on all sides of the kebabs.
Heat up the gas braai for 10 minutes on high.
Turn down to a medium heat and grill kebabs till the pork is just cooked through.
Remove from the braai and serve hot with some garlic bread on the side.
